Terms of sale
These terms cover buying a custom acceptable use policy from cryptalmedia.com. The free template doesn't need you to agree to anything.
Who we are
Cryptal Media Group Ltd., registered in Scotland, company number SC613004, registered office Woodgreen, Barhill Road, Dalbeattie, DG5 4JB. Questions: [email protected].
What you get
A PDF copy of our acceptable use policy template, filled in with the details you give us on the form. It includes your business name and logo, leaves out the sections you said don't apply, and has the hints taken out.
Depending on the option you choose, it's in our colours with our logo beside yours, or in plain colours with your logo only.
What you get is made from what you type. Please check your answers before you pay. We don't check them for you.
It doesn't include advice, a review of your business or changes after you download it.
Price
The price is shown on the page before you pay and includes VAT. You pay once; there's no subscription.
Delivery
Your PDF is made straight away and you can download it as soon as you've paid. We also email you a receipt with a link to download it again. That link works for 7 days.
Cancelling and refunds
Because your policy is made for you and you can download it straight away, you agree when you buy that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once the download starts.
If something goes wrong (the file won't download, won't open, or doesn't match what you entered), email [email protected] within 30 days. We'll make a corrected copy or give you a full refund.
Not legal advice
The policy is a template written in plain English for small businesses. It isn't legal advice and may not cover everything your business needs. You're responsible for checking it suits your business and for how you use it. If you're unsure, speak to a solicitor or an HR adviser.
Your use of the policy
Once you've bought it, you can use, change, print and share your copy within your own business. Please don't resell it or offer it to other businesses.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law says it can't be limited. Otherwise, the most we're responsible for is the price you paid.
The law
These terms are under the laws of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own part of the UK.
