How we work

We plan your IT in stages you can afford, then look after it once it's in. You always know what we'll do, why, and what it costs before we start.

Projects in phases

Instead of one big project, we split the work into phases. Each phase gets its own proposal, and you decide when it goes ahead.

Later phases build on earlier ones. For example, the network goes in before cameras, because the network is what powers them. A typical order looks like this:

  1. Wi-Fi that works. A reliable connection across your building.
  2. Network, security and backups. Staying online, keeping out threats and keeping copies of your files.
  3. Cameras and sensors. Seeing what's happening on site.
  4. Phones, door access and fire alarms. Bringing more of the building onto the same system.

Your order may be different. We start with whatever matters most to you.

What each phase looks like

  1. You tell us what's wrong and what you'd like to change.
  2. We visit and look at what you have today.
  3. We send a proposal that says what we'll do, why, and what it costs. Estimates are marked as estimates.
  4. You decide. Nothing goes ahead until you say so.
  5. We install it, test it and show your staff how it works.

Monitoring and support

Once your systems are in, we can look after them for a monthly fee. That covers:

  • watching your network, servers and backups, so we often hear about a problem before you do
  • keeping things up to date
  • fixing problems remotely where we can
  • help when your staff need it, by email

Price: ask us and we'll quote for your business.

Starting small is fine. Most of our clients have fewer than ten staff. Tell us your budget and we'll show you what fits.
